The 22nd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala took place last Saturday, Jan. 8 2011 and as usual it was a spectacle to behold.  Such luminaries as Natalie Portman, Robert Duvall and Helen Mirren came out to present and receive awards and campaign for a shot at an Oscar.

Icon Presentations wide-screen technology brought the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala Awards to eye-popping life at the Palm Springs Convention Center Jan. 5. It was the eleventh year that Icon has provided video projection for the show, produced by Event Management Productions. But this year the screens were bigger than ever. Here Icon's CEO Mike Fryatt, explains a little about the audio visual set-up just hours before showtime.
